Wes Buckley is a songwriter from Western Massachusetts. He is always working on building a new instrument in the basement from a daxophone to a nail violin to a cigar box something. His approach to melody and story in a song are the same– experiment then add heart and a pretty good joke. Wes is in Johnny Irion’s band and helps out at The Guthrie Center sweeping up etc. He has toured the US and EU quite a bit, this is his first time to Oklahoma.
