Casii Stephan is a genre-fluid songwriter whose music lives somewhere between pop, soul, rock, and folk, driven by sharp hooks and emotionally fearless storytelling. Born in Minnesota and shaped in Tulsa, she writes honest, socially aware songs exploring love and loss, grief and growth, often pushing back against sexism, ageism and fascism. This year, Casii’s songwriting has received international recognition from the International Acoustic Music Awards, International Songwriting Competition, and the “New Folk” competition with Kerrville Folk Fest. Casii also shares the same publisher and label as Woody Guthrie, her catalog is also administered by TRO Essex Music Group and Shamus Records. Casii has toured regionally and internationally and has performed multiple official SXSW and Folk Alliance Showcases. She is currently finishing her debut album with producer, Chad Copelin—an expansive, hook-forward project that showcases her full range as an artist.
