Joleen Brown is a Tulsa-based singer-songwriter rooted in eastern Oklahoma. Since emerging on the local scene in 2023, she’s built momentum quickly—opening a sold-out night at Cain’s Ballroom, winning the Tulsa Day Center’s Big Show Off, performing at SXSW’s Tulsa House, and selling out her own album release at Mercury Lounge.
Her debut album, A Good Place to Hide Away (2025), was recorded with Grammy-nominated producer Wes Sharon at 115 Recording Studio and features members of the Turnpike Troubadours. Her music has also been featured on Lowdown, expanding her reach to a wider audience.
Blending folk, Americana, and red dirt influences, Joleen performs alongside a close-knit group of respected Tulsa musicians. What started without a plan has grown into a steady climb—guided by instinct, community, and a deep love for the journey.
